Milton Keynes MP encourages local groups to apply for ‘Democracy For All’ grant

Iain Stewart MP is calling for applications from local groups to the Speaker’s Art Fund ‘Democracy For All’ grant worth £500.

The ‘Democracy For All’ can be used to fund art and education projects and activities taking place in Milton Keynes which improve the understanding of democracy.

Projects must have the UK Parliament/House of Commons at their heart. They should offer shared creative experiences to bring local communities together.

The deadline for applications is 12 January 2024 with projects needing to be delivered by the of March 2024.

Iain Stewart MP commented: “It is important that we take every opportunity to educate our communities about the importance of democracy and create experiences to bring local communities together.

“The Speaker’s Art Fund is a great opportunity to achieve this by getting funding to support art and education projects to further our understanding of democracy.”
