Milton Keynes Marathon to return to Stadium MK for 2024 with new 5 year agreement

    The Milton Keynes Marathon weekend is set to return to Stadium MK for 2024.

    Milton Keynes Marathon will be returning to Stadium MK in 2024 on 5th and 6th May, following the announcement of a brand new 5-year agreement.

    The popular marathon weekend previously took place at Stadium MK before making the move to Campbell Park for 2023. 

    MK Marathon is a multi-award-winning marathon event is consistently ranked in the top 10 UK marathons, an AIMS-certified race, with BARR Gold accreditation for outstanding race management.

    The marathon counts as a London and Boston marathon qualifying event as well as an Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships qualifier.

    Every year, the event takes place during the early May Bank Holiday weekend, with two days of running.

    Runners can take on the Rocket 5k on the Sunday, and either the Marathon Relay, Half Marathon or Marathon on the Bank Holiday Monday.

    Andy Gibb, the Group Sales Director at Stadium:MK, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "The MK Marathon is an iconic event for the City of Milton Keynes, and we are absolutely delighted that Stadium:MK will be the home of the event for the next five years. We very much look forward to welcoming Andy, the team, and all the runners and supporters back to Stadium:MK."

    The move back to Stadium MK will leave runners with a stadium finish.
