Police charge former UKIP Milton Keynes candidate over anti-5G protest held during lockdown

    Jeffery Wyatt, 56, of Watery Lane, Beachampton, Milton Keynes is amongst the 23 people who have been charged in connection with demonstrations in London last month.

    The former UKIP candidate for Stony Stratford has been charged in relation to an anti-5G protest that took place in Hyde Park on May 16.

    He, alongside Piers Corbyn, 73, of East Street, Southwark, has been charged with offences under the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020.

    Mr Wyatt is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 10 July.
