Milton Keynes Hospital Charity thanks sponsors ahead of Gala Ball

Milton Keynes Hospital Charity are sending out a very special thank you to the sponsors of their glittering Gala, which takes place this Friday, June 24.

The Gala, in aid of the cancer centre at Milton Keynes University Hospital, has already raised a considerable amount of money – thanks to the generosity of ticket holders and a fabulous selection of sponsors.

The lead sponsors for the evening are business consulting and services company Oakwood Resources and the Milton Keynes Business Improvement District, MyMiltonKeynes.

Vanessa Holmes, Associate Director at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity says: “We couldn’t be more grateful for this phenomenal support. All of our sponsors are locally-based businesses, which means a great deal to us, to the cancer centre team and to the people who will be there on the night. It really shows they care and that they are just as passionate as us, about making a difference to local cancer care.”

The Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Gala Ball takes place on Friday June 24 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Stadium MK. It is set to be attended by more than 250 people, and features performances from Accursio Romeo Dance Academy, Arts One and live band The High Wires. Celebrity Auctioneer Charles Hanson will be conducting the live auction.

Funds raised on the evening will fund items that enable the hospital team to go well above and beyond an already excellent standard – ensuring our incredibly brave patients have the best experience and support when facing the life-changing reality of a cancer diagnosis.

Recent charitable support has funded planting for gardens, extra comfortable chairs in the dedicated inpatient ward and the revamp of a waiting area within the centre.
