Milton Keynes gym offering free virtual classes during the lockdown

David Lloyd, who have a club in Milton Keynes, are offering free access to their online classes on the DLC @Home App.

The news comes after a study found that people are exercising less and watching television more this current lockdown.

With gyms closed as part of the national lockdown, David Lloyd have opened their online app to everyone to encourage us all to become more active.

As well as exercise classes, there is support with family runs and coffee mornings, to help combat loneliness that some may feel at the minute.

There are also on-demand videos for all ages, to help the whole family get active, even those who haven't exercised in a while, with exercises even for beginners.

CEO of David Lloyd, Glenn Earlam said: Our members have told us that David Lloyd Clubs @home has proved to be a lifeline over three lockdowns, keeping them fit, well and feeling connected.

"We know the last year has taken its toll on the nation’s physical and mental wellbeing and we wanted to be able to offer everyone the opportunity to benefit from the huge range of the content delivered by our friendly David Lloyd Clubs @home team."

The DLC @Home app can be downloaded on Apple's App Store and Google Play Store, it's also available online at the David Lloyd website.
