Quick action leads to court appearance.
Thames Valley Police have praised their Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Officers who intercepted a robbery while it was going on.
Earlier this week, while on foot patrol in the city centre, CMK Neighbourhood officers were alerted to a woman in distress. They arrived within minutes and saw her being assaulted, with CCTV also capturing the incident.
The female victim sustained low level injuries and is being supported by officers.
Following swift enquiries, a 32-year-old male was arrested at the scene and was charged with robbery. He was due to appear in court today.
“A huge thank you to our officers for their quick response and dedication to keeping our community safe,” said a police spokesperson.
