Run together to celebrate 15 years of Harry's Rainbow.
Milton Keynes charity Harry’s Rainbow are inviting runners to sign up for the Festival of Running next March to help it hit its target of putting together a team of 150 people in honour of 15 years of the children’s bereavement charity.
Anyone registering with Harry’s Rainbow will get 15% off the entry fee for the event, which will be held on March 15. Thanks to sponsors Taylor Wimpey, all Harry’s Rainbow runners will receive a free event T-shirt, and before and after the event, the charity will be inviting all runners at the Midsummer Tap, where a buffet will be provided.
In addition, because the Festival of Running coincides with Mothering Sunday, there will be a glass of prosecco for all mothers taking part.
The Festival of Running includes the Milton Keynes Half Marathon as well as a 5K, 10K and 20-mile run, starting at Xscape in Milton Keynes before heading out into beautiful scenic routes over mostly flat courses.
Alison Johnson, Fundraising and Events Manager at Harry’s Rainbow, said: “We are delighted to be one of the charity partners at the Festival of Running again this year and we’d love to see as many people as possible sign up to take part on behalf of Harry’s Rainbow and be a part of our 15th anniversary celebrations in 2026.
“Harry’s Rainbow originally started off with running events, so we are hoping some of those who joined us right back in the first days of the charity will come along and join in to help us celebrate, as well as plenty of regular supporters and hopefully some new faces.
