Officers say they are investigating two incidents of criminal damage at homes in Milton Keynes.
A Milton Keynes family have been left frightened after a brick was thrown through their window in the middle of the night.
One homeowner, who does not wish to be named, told MKFM that bricks were thrown through his window while his son in law, his wife and three kids slept.
The following night, another car on the street was damaged.
The family say they have been left 'seriously concerned' following the attacks and are scared more will happen and have been left wondering if it is a 'targeted attack'.
Police say they are investigating incidents of criminal damage at addresses in Hodge Lea.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received two reports of criminal damage at addresses in Brookside, Hodge Lea, Milton Keynes.
“At around 2.50am Monday (28/8), two car windscreens and a window were smashed with bricks.
“Sometime between 1.30am and 2am Tuesday (29/8), two bricks were thrown through a car window.
“Officers are investigating both incidents, which are not thought to be linked, and urge anyone with information to call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230384876 for yesterday’s incident and 43230386017 for today’s.
“Alternatively, provide information to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
