Paddle to Victory: Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival Splashes Back on 19th July 2025.
The highly anticipated Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival is back for 2025! Scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the stunning Willen Lake, this exciting event promises a day of competitive racing, entertainment, and community spirit, all in support of Brain Tumour Research.
Following the success of the 2024 festival, which saw over 20 teams battle it out on the water and raise significant funds for Brain Tumour Research, the 2025 event is set to be bigger and better than ever. Teams from across the region are invited to compete in a thrilling day of dragon boat racing while raising vital funds for this essential cause.
A Day of Racing, Fun, and Fundraising
The Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival offers an unforgettable experience for teams of all backgrounds. No previous experience is necessary—just gather a crew of up to 11 participants, and we’ll provide everything you need, including dragon boats, experienced helms, and all necessary equipment. Each team will enjoy a minimum of three races, with plenty of opportunities to shine on the water.

Whether you’re a first-time racer or a seasoned pro, we make it easy to get involved, with all equipment and guidance provided. Plus, the day is packed with bankside activities, from food stalls to exciting entertainment, ensuring there’s something for everyone. We’re proud to support Brain Tumour Research and aim to make the 2025 festival our most impactful yet!”
Beyond the races, spectators can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities and delicious food stalls along the scenic Willen Lake banks. Teams raising the most funds for Brain Tumour Research will also receive a special trophy and a fantastic corporate package prize from Urban Battlefields! Urban Battlefields is outdoor laser tag on purpose built battlegrounds sprawling over 14 acres. The winner will receive a 2 hour session for up to 24 people, playing Capture the Flag, Team Elimination and Domination, using 3 mission maps with camouflage hats and coveralls, mission instructors and unlimited ammo!
