Milton Keynes Dons Community Trust announces new appointments

MK Dons Community Trust has appointed four new senior members of staff to help the charity fulfil its ambition to improve lives across the city by harnessing the power of football.

The football club’s official charity has added Georgina Fielden, Mark Johnston, Charlie Marsh and Celine O'Halloran to its team who deliver education, skill development, inclusion, mobility, wellbeing and holiday camp initiatives across Milton Keynes to people of all ages.

They will support the Trust’s existing delivery and fundraising work while expanding its footprint and impact to participants engaged with specific programmes where greater resource is required to connect more people.

It represents a milestone moment for the Trust, which rebranded in August 2025 as part of ambitious plans to increase engagement in the city aligned to its three-year strategy – which is being formulated following a consultation process with the public, participants and stakeholders.

“There is a collective determination to ensure we as a Trust can positively impact the lives of as many people as possible in Milton Keynes through our community based programmes,” said Paul Mitchell, CEO of MK Dons Community Trust.

“To have Georgina, Mark, Charlie and Celine join our team is a fantastic marker of the direction the Trust is heading to deliver more outcomes and more impact to people of all ages in the city and its surrounds.

“Historically, we’ve been known to operate school holiday camps and our boys and girls football pathway programmes. These remain a key part of our operation, and help generate the revenue required to upscale our broader charitable work.

“But our work today is about much more than children’s provisions. Our team work in schools, care homes, places of worship, community centres and more tackling key societal issues every week to deliver tangible change.

“This is a positive step in fulfilling our ultimate goal to transform lives through the power of the Dons badge, and we wish our four new members to the team every success in their roles.”

The Trust’s Adult Physical Activity sessions designed for those living with neurological conditions and brain injuries have already been expanded to be delivered in five care homes across Milton Keynes managed by ExcelCare.

The partnership was struck by Mark, the Trust’s Community Sports Development Officer, who will also drive Premier League Kicks and SEND delivery.

Georgina joins as Inclusion Officer and will lead the charity’s pan-disability adult and youth football programmes while championing inclusive activities across the Trust’s work.

“This is a really encouraging time to join the Trust as part of its ambitious growth plans,” she said.

“Our inclusion football squad recently celebrated its 25th birthday, and we have every intention of making 2026 our most impactful year yet. Football has a tremendous power to unite people and communities – we see this every day.

“To be part of a strong team delivering this impact locally is really rewarding and we look forward to the challenges ahead.”
