Members of Milton Keynes-based Herlihy Burgoine School of Irish Dance have qualified for the World Championships in 2026.
The brilliant achievement will see the youngsters swapping the new city for Chicago to compete - but only if they can raise £15,000 to cover their travel and competition costs.
The team has until April to raise the cash, and they are seeking sponsors, donations and raffle contributions as they work hard to hit their target.
"Seeing the dancers’ hard work and perseverance rewarded at such a prestigious event has been the best possible end to our year,” said teacher Julie Herlihy, “We are so proud of the commitment, efforts and team-work shown by every dancer, not forgetting the community and team-spirit shown by their family and friends - it means everything to us.
“In 2026 we hope to build on these recent successes and support our exceptional world qualifiers in their journey to Chicago.”
