Milton Keynes cycle stage to be broadcast live on TV

    MK to Ampthill leg features in international bike race reports.

    Coverage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men cycle race will be broadcast live by ITV this year, including stage 3 which starts in Milton Keynes.

    Free-to-air live coverage of Britain’s biggest professional cycle race will go out from Tuesday 2nd September. ITV4 and ITVX will show coverage of all six stages, along with daily highlights, from 2nd to 7th September, once again bringing the action to fans across Britain.

    It marks the 13th consecutive edition of the UK’s largest free-to-spectate live sporting event that has enjoyed live coverage on ITV4 and ITVX, and the 17th edition in a row to have been broadcast on the channel since 2008.

    The Lloyds Tour of Britain Men starts in Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes on stage three of the six stage event. It marks a return for Britain’s national tour to Milton Keynes for the first time in 17 years, with the city last hosting a start during the 2008 race.
