Milton Keynes Council forced to remove 'illegal' banners

The banners were placed on Roman Roundabout in Bletchley without the Council's permission.

Milton Keynes Council says that it removes all the 'illegal' banners due to the damage they can cause to barriers, making them unsafe.

They can also distract drivers and become loose and blow into traffic.

The Council asks that the public do not up such banners.

Many residents on the Facebook post that the Council put up about the subject, think that the businesses involved should be fined.

However, Milton Keynes Council suggests that any businesses looking to advertise in Milton Keynes should visit their website
