Milton Keynes Community Foundation named as chosen charity

Milton Keynes Theatre is delighted to announce that Milton Keynes Community Foundation has been selected as the official charity partner.

This exciting partnership means that the generous donations made during the panto season will go directly into MK Community Foundation’s Community Fund, ensuring that local charities and community groups across Milton Keynes benefit through vital grant opportunities.

“Every year our charity partnership creates a longer-lasting legacy for the pantomime,” said Emma Sullivan, Theatre Director at Milton Keynes Theatre. “This year, partnering with MK Community Foundation gives the opportunity for the happiness our audiences experience to reach beyond the panto season and impact the wider MK community.”

“This is a wonderful way for theatre audiences to help spread festive cheer well beyond the stage,” said Ian Revell, CEO at MK Community Foundation. “Every penny collected goes back into supporting grassroots organisations that are making a real difference in our city.”

Goldilocks and the Three Bears plays at Milton Keynes Theatre for five weeks only. Joining Brian Conley on stage will be his daughter, Lucy Conley, as Goldilocks, renowned panto dame, David Robbins, as Dame Betty Barnum, panto villain Phil Corbitt as The Evil Ringmaster, magician Phil Hitchcock as The Magical Mysterioso and, direct from Zippo’s Circus, The Timbuktu Tumblers. The festive extravaganza will be packed with riotous comedy, extraordinary special effects and hair-raising stunts, as the theatre is transformed into a sensational circus, where everything is possible and anything could (and will) happen!

Call to Local Businesses: Get Involved!

As part of the festive spirit, we’re calling on local businesses and community-minded individuals to volunteer as donation collectors at performances throughout the season.

To express interest in volunteering, please email claire.baldock@mkcommunityfoundation.co.uk. To learn more about how to apply for a grant, please visit www.mkcommunityfoundation.co.uk.

Let’s make this panto season truly “just right” for everyone in Milton Keynes.
