Milton Keynes Community Foundation have issued a statement in regards to the ongoing riots happening across the country.
Non-profit organisation, Milton Keynes Community Foundation (MKCF) took to X this morning (August 8) to address the ongoing riots taking place across the UK.
MKCF quoted a post from UK Community Foundations which was responding to the ongoing riots.
The quote reads:
“We condemn the acts of violence being committed in communities throughout the UK.
At MK Community Foundation, we celebrate the rich diversity of our community and are committed to championing & supporting equality & inclusion across all of Milton Keynes.”
The quote ended with the hashtag ‘StrongerCommunities’.

This follows a statement issued yesterday (August 7) by the Milton Keynes Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Emma Baillie, in which she reassured residents amid the national disorder and assured it is safe to continue with their daily business and family activities.
