New city firm Bill's Minibus & Coach Hire – currently celebrating 21 years of service - is driving its new fundraising initiative, which will swell the coffers for Milton Keynes University Hospital.
Each January, the company holds a new brochure launch at the Ridgeway Centre at Wolverton Mill South, which gives passengers the opportunity to meet the team, have a brew and check out the forthcoming trip opportunities.
The team organises a raffle on the day to benefit a worthy cause - in 2025 they raised more than £1000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
January 2026's event will be in support of Milton Keynes University Hospital, which supported Bill's Coaches employee Tara Symmons through her cancer treatment.
I know first hand the incredible dedication and support provided by the Doctors, surgeons, nurses and staff,” said Tara, who underwent a nephrectomy, a kidney removal, “I have had amazing support from the team there, including my doctor Henry Andrews. The surgery and recovery was great, and I returned to work after four weeks.
“I will be under their care for a long time to come, and this is a way of giving something back.”
Bill's Minibus & Coach Hire is appealing to local businesses and individuals to donate items, gift cards or service as raffle prizes, and they are happy to promote your business in return.
