Milton Keynes City Council have updated residents that this Monday's (August 5) food and garden waste collection will be suspended to allow catch up following recent staff shortage.
Milton Keynes City Council have released a statement updating residents on waste collections, following recent staff shortages that led to the inability of some waste bins/sacks being collected.
The statement reads:
"Thank you for your patience as our waste contractor Suez deals with temporary but significant staff shortages. This means:
Any bins/sacks not collected on Friday (2 Aug) should be put out on Saturday as crews will return to collect.
Any bins/sacks not collected by the end of Saturday will be collected on Monday (5 Aug).
Monday’s food and garden waste collections will be suspended to allow crews to catch up. Please put out your green bin on Monday 12 Aug."
