Milton Keynes City Council seeks volunteers for Smart Cycle trial

Milton Keynes City Council is calling for 100 volunteers to participate in an ambitious year-long Smart Cycle trial to improve the city's infrastructure.

The goal of this trial is to collect valuable data to assist the City Council in planning future infrastructure improvements across the city.

Cyclists who frequently ride in Milton Keynes and own their own bikes are invited to apply for the trial. The data gathered will be key to shaping how the city accommodates cyclists and enhances its cycling routes. Importantly, all data shared by participants will remain anonymous to ensure privacy.

To ensure the trial reflects a diverse range of cyclists, applicants are required to fill out a questionnaire designed to help the City Council select a representative group. The application form is available online until September 9.

This initiative is a great opportunity for residents to directly contribute to the city’s development while promoting a sustainable mode of transport. Interested residents can sign up by filling out the application form available here.
