Milton Keynes children invited to take part in lockdown LEGO building competition

This half term, a Milton Keynes Facebook group is inviting children to create their very own lockdown themed LEGO build to win prizes.

The competition is open to children of various ages and promises that the winners will have pictures of their build published in a local magazine.

The Facebook post that called all local children to action read: "Calling all of Stony's Block-Heads! Do you have what it takes to be a Stony Kids Master Builder?!

"This half term, Stony Kids invites all kids to create a (loosely) lockdown themed build, whether big or small, and enter our Stony Kids Master Builder Competition!

"There are three categories: 5 and under, 6-10 and 11 plus.

"Three Master Builders from each category will each receive a Master Builder badge, some sweet treats and have a picture of their build published in the Essentially Local magazine.

"Winners will be chosen by local graphic designer Mason Edwards and announced on Sunday 28th February.

"Create your build and then ask your adult to join Stony Kids and post a picture of it in the comments under the pinned post with your name and age."

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 21st February.
