The Parks Trust, the independent and self-financing charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of green space in Milton Keynes, has appointed Hannah Bodley to the newly created post of Deputy CEO.
The appointment is a promotion for the Milton Keynes local who has worked for the charity since 2015. Hannah first joined The Parks Trust as Head of Marketing and Business Development before adding Events and Community Engagement to her remit in 2017. Her career has also included marketing roles at Silverstone Circuits, Homebase and Argos.
CEO Victoria Miles MBE, who joined the Trust in May 2022, commented, “A key focus for my first year has been reviewing our structure and succession planning so that we are well-equipped to head into our next 30 years. The Trust benefits from an incredible breadth of talent on our Senior Leadership Team and Hannah’s promotion to Deputy CEO further strengthens our structure.
“Hannah has served for many years as a public face of the charity, working closely with local stakeholders and leading on many important projects and initiatives. Her passion for ensuring that the parks serve residents and visitors alike is infectious. I am thrilled she has accepted this well-deserved promotion.”
Alongside her role as Deputy CEO, Hannah will continue to lead on marketing and community engagement which includes events, outdoor learning and volunteering.
