Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce recognised at national awards

    MKCC was celebrating last night after being named runner-up in the Chamber of the Year category at the national Chamber Awards 2018

    The Chamber, alongside its sister Chamber in Northamptonshire was voted the second best Chamber in the country out of the 53 Chambers accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).

    It was also runner-up in the Excellence in Membership Services awards at the prestigious event which was organised by the BCC.

    This is the fifth year running the Chamber has been shortlisted and is the only year the organisation has not walked away with a title having won five awards in the four previous years.

    Milton Keynes Chamber chief executive Paul Griffiths attended last night’s gala ceremony at Tobacco Dock in London with a team from both Chambers.

    He says, “We are honoured to be runners up in both the Chamber of the Year category and the Excellence in Membership Services award. To be recognised by our peers for the fifth year in a row is an incredible achievement and is testament to the dedication and hard work of our team.

    “I’m proud of the entire team and would like to thank them as well as the board, local partners and stakeholders and of course our valued members for their ongoing support.”
