Milton Keynes cat charity receives the purrfect backing - and you can help further

A new city girl is putting her best foot forward for the month of February - by walking 100 miles to support local charity, Travis Cat Rescue.

The city is bursting with cats and kittens failed by those trusted to care with them, and when things go wrong, it is charities like Travis Cat Rescue who do their best to put things right.

But mounting cases of abuse and abandonment, and rising veterinary costs, make their job all the harder.

"I recently started volunteering for them and have seen first hand the amount of care and effort that goes into each individual cat and kitten," said Natalia Kuzma, "Travis Cat Rescue is a very small independently ran rescue which relies solely on donations to look after all the cats in their care."

Come rain or shine, Natalie will clocking up the miles by walking all over Milton Keynes throughut February, and you can follow her progress here:

Natalia is hoping to make £1000 to support the charity's valuable work, and every little really does help.
