A local beauty clinic has expanded into a PCR testing clinic to help keep the business going during the pandemic.
L'Beau Clinique, located in Woughton on the Green, stopped offering its usual beauty and aesthetic services at the start of the pandemic last year.
Lisa Profeta, who is the owner of the private treatment centre, was later given the opportunity by a botox doctor to become trained, qualified and UKAS-registered in PCR testing.
"In order to save my business and everyone underneath the umbrella," Lisa explained, "I stopped all treatments and [now] travel all over the country and solely concentrate on PCR testing."
L'Beau Clinique also offers its usual beauty treatments, like botox and fillers, but they are carried out by other fully-trained staff members.
Due to Lisa expanding the business, it is now an official premises for swabbing and assessment for those that have to have a negative PCR test before flying, for example. The clinic has introduced antigen protein tests and antibody blood tests too.
L'Beau Clinique is also the only clinic in Milton Keynes working with the NL Clinic on the Government's "preferred suppliers list" that provides fast test results.
They even provide same day and next day results for emergency circumstances.
L'Beau Clinique opens at 6:30 am every day for those that need a PCR test first thing. Lisa is also licensed to attend business premises to conduct PCR tests.
Lisa adds: "I am now left with a totally new level of services which will be rebranded and launched in September."
