The Video News Factory has come up with an innovative 'pay for view service' to ensure that Miss England 2020 can still go ahead.
It was originally set to be filmed in Leicester and live-streamed across the world, but due to the local lockdown, it will now be filmed at a secret location in Milton Keynes.
The Video News Factory will be broadcasting the Miss England Semi-Finals and Grand Finals for all to see using Zoom. Viewers will also be able to vote for their favourite contestant.
Miss England is part of the Miss World contest and has developed into a modern, vibrant multi-cultural competition where young women are united under the banner of beauty to promote 'beauty with a purpose'.
The Miss England 2020 Semis will take place on the 31st of July 2020 at 7.30 pm and be broadcast live. The event will be hosted by a small team with safe distancing, including judges, hosts and entertainers, video clips of contestants in action, and live interviews with the panel of judges.

A pilot test for this innovative 'pay for view' service was completed in June, meaning it is now live and available for people to vote using a link. 22 contestants are already taking part in Miss England 2020, and more are expected to join.
