Milton Keynes Bangladeshi Association hosting charity dinner

The Milton Keynes Bangladeshi Association is inviting residents to help raise funds for charity.

Following the devastating floods in Bangladesh, The Milton Keynes Bangladeshi Association (MKBA) is inviting residents to join them for a charity dinner.

Taking place at Spice Village in Shenley Church End on Tuesday 5th July at 8pm, a 3 course meal will cost £20-25 per person.

Millions of homes are underwater and transport links have been severely disrupted in Bangladesh following the floods. Last week, troops were called in to rescue thousands of people stranded by floods which have severed transport links.

MKBA was founded in 2015 by the bangladeshi community members living in Milton Keynes with the motto and vision 'together for a better community'. They aim to encourage and engage a wider, diverse community especially the Bangladeshi community in MK - who they say have had a few generations living in the city for the past 50 years, and have contributed to the community .

The Bangladeshi are now well in progress with education and taking a leading role in the community and supporting local good causes and charity
