The Westbury Arts Centre in Shenley Wood is looking for artists at any level to submit work for their upcoming Milton Keynes Open 2021 exhibition.
After having to cancel the local art competition in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Westbury Arts Centre is now once again asking for locals to send in their artwork. Whether you would class yourself as an amateur, professional, hobbyist or student - any successful submissions will be on display in the summer exhibition.
On their website, Westbury Arts Centre posted: "In 2020 as with lots of events we had to sadly cancel Milton Keynes Open. However, we're back in 2021!
"Determined that Milton Keynes Open 2021 should go ahead we'll be offering a hybrid event. An opportunity for visitors to not only view the exhibition in person at Westbury Arts Centre but to also view in our online gallery.
"Milton Keynes Open is all about championing local creatives. We are inviting all artists to apply. Whether working in paint, print, photography or other mediums.
"We'll also be re-launching "Westbury Young Artist of the Year", open to anyone under the age of 18."
