The new Dons assistant boss speaks to MKFM about his plans to turn things around.

Despite MK Dons' league position and having a wealth of experience from Premier League clubs, Keith Millen says his move to MK Dons wasn't a difficult one.

MK Dons currently sit in 21st position in League One, they've appointed Dan Micciche and Keith Millen to turn this around.

"I don't talk about being in the relegation zone, we're not playing well, you've got to talk about the process of winning football matches because if you win football matches you move up the league, simple as that."

"We mustn't get too hung up on where we are in the league, of course we know where we are, but we got to realise what we need to do to win games and then you automatically move up the league, so it's the process and the mindset that we've got to improve and change."

Despite their league position, Millen doesn't think they need too many additions to the current squad, "I like their togetherness, they work hard, they've been willing to learn there's not a lack of confidence there, their attitude has been spot on. There's a lot of talent there, there's some good footballers in the group and we've got to try and put that together to make a good team."

"With a week's training you're not going to solve everything so we've go to try and work out what we can improve on and try and concentrate on winning the game"
