Micciche won't settle for 'just a point' in any game

MK Dons face four of the top six in the last eight games of the season, but Micciche is only looking for wins.

It's a tough end of season run-in for MK Dons, fixture-wise, but as they sit just one point from safety, Manager Dan Micciche says they are looking for wins, no matter the opposition, "We are in the business of winning games, I don't want to go into any game wanting a draw, whoever we're playing against."

MK Dons already beat fourth place Rotherham two weeks ago and have shown they can compete against the top sides, "I know with the forthcoming games people might think we'd take a point there but no, we're going into every game looking to win it"

MK Dons start this run away at Gillingham on Thursday night, a ground where they've never won, Dan Micciche isn't letting this fact hang over the side though, "I don't care! It's in the past, I'm just looking forward; it's a different context, it's different players, it's a different situation, we're just focusing on what we do."

MK Dons' end of season run in and their league position as of today (27/3):

    • Gillingham (A) 13th
    • Blackburn (H) 3rd
    • Wigan Athletic (A) 2nd
    • Doncaster (H) 15th
    • Southend Utd (A) 12th
    • Bradford City (A) 10th
    • Scunthorpe (H) 5th
    • Shrewsbury (A) 1st
