Little & Wise Playgroup is playing its part in uniting generations, and strengthening community bonds, locally.
“Our playgroups encourage communications and friendship, benefiting participants of every age,” says Little & Wise founder, Jodie Lindell.
“We are connecting young children and older adults through intergenerational play, offering unique and heart warming community experiences across Milton Keynes.
“Our playgroups provide a safe, welcoming environment where children and care home residents can interact and engage in activities alongside each other. They are run from participating care homes and we run community stay and plays from local venues,” she told MKFM.
“Our goal is to bring the community together, regardless of age, to create friendships, joy and a sense of belonging. This encourages children to develop empathy, confidence and social skills whilst reducing loneliness and older adults gain companionship, purpose and connection.”
