McDonald's in centre:mk to reopen next week

From Monday 22nd February, McDonald's in centre:mk will reopen for McDelivery, walk-in takeaway and Click & Collect.

If you're a McDonald's fan in MK the good news continues because their Xscape, Kingston and Brickhill restaurants will also reopen for walk-in takeaway on the same day (22/02). So, it won’t be long before those who don’t drive or live within the McDelivery geofence in Milton Keynes will be able to enjoy their favourite menu items again!

McDonald's previously decided to pause walk-in takeaway services last month to review their safety measures, in response to the current lockdown.

After their review, McDonald's plan to re-open their stores for walk-in takeaway from Monday 22nd February with new measures in place for everyone's safety, including all the stores in Milton Keynes. Some new restrictions in place involve reducing the numbers of customers and couriers allowed in, bigger sanitising stations and changes to the flow around the restaurant.

As per current lockdown rules, sit down meals will still not be allowed.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "We still have smaller teams working with screens and social distancing measures in our kitchen and service areas.

"This means it will take longer than usual to serve you, and so I thank you again for your continued patience and kindness.

"Our opening hours will continue to vary so please do check the My McDonald's app or our website before you travel."

For now, Westcroft and Wolverton stay closed for takeaway.
