Mayor to Open Christmas Themed THOR’S Tipi Bar this Friday at Intu

A Christmas themed bar is coming to intu, Milton Keynes this Friday serving mulled wine, craft beers and speciality hot chocolates for all of the family

Mayor David Hopkins will be opening Milton Keynes’ newest Christmas attraction – THOR’S tipi bar – this Friday, 10th November at 5.00pm.

Located in Oak Court at intu Milton Keynes shopping centre, THOR’S tipi bar - playing on Yorkshire’s Viking heritage - will be a novel experience for Christmas shoppers and revellers alike.  A giant Scandinavian tipi will form the bar, festooned with lighting and decked out with wooden tables and benches, cosy furs and a fire pit.

Serving local draft ales, mulled wine and hot cider, the fully licensed bar will have something to warm everyone's cockles.  A hot chocolate station allows kids, big and small, to choose a topping for their homemade chocolate treat.

For Christmas gatherings with a difference, THOR’S tipi bar can either be hired exclusively for up to 160 people or a special chill-out area can be set aside for smaller groups (minimum 10 people).  Bookings are now open.

THOR’S tipi bar will be open from 10:00am daily from 10th November to 31st December (closed Christmas Day). For details visit www.thorstipi.com
