Marshall’s Father of Loud Day coming to Stadium MK in April

    MK Dons will be staging its annual tribute to Jim Marshall when Mark Jackson’s side take on Portsmouth at Stadium MK.

    MK Dons welcome Pompey to Stadium MK on Friday 7th April when they will be looking to secure an important three points in Sky Bet League One. Kick-off is at 3pm.

    The Club will be using the day to celebrate Milton Keynes-based business, and long-term Club Partners, Marshall Amplification as well as pay tribute to the late Jim Marshall, founder of the company, who sadly passed away 11 years ago.

    Marshall Amplification will be sponsoring the match and there will be a number of events taking place throughout the day, including the Father of Loud Day Fanzone, which will be held in the Marshall Arena from 12.30pm.

    The Marshall Arena will be filled with inflatables, activities, music, skill sessions from MK Dons Women’s players, plus a showing of the lunchtime live TV match and much, much more.

    Post-match, the Marshall Arena will re-open for supporters to enjoy a drink and enjoy a special performance from Marshall’s record label and live agency band, Gen and the Degenerates.

    The Man of the Match presentation will also take place in the Arena.

    There will plenty more pre and post-match entertainment and competitions, not least the chance to win a Marshall Amplification 60 Year Anniversary satin bomber jacket at half-time in a special edition of the Cattle Run.

    Marshall have commented on how they are keen to give back to the city of Milton Keynes, telling MK Dons: “A core part of Jim’s legacy and therefore part of our mission for this day, is to give back to the local community.

    “Marshall Amplification are proud to host the Father of Loud Fanzone for the people of Milton Keynes, the city that has grown with us.”

    Tickets for the Father of Loud Day are priced from £24 adults, £18 over-65s, £12 under 25s, £6 under 18s and £3 under-12s while under 7s can attend for just £1! Please note, ticket prices will increase by £2 when bought on the day of the game.
