A man has been jailed for raping a teenage girl following an investigation carried out by Bedfordshire Police.
Dawood Khan, 41, has been jailed for 11 years for raping a teenage girl when he had spotted her alone and distressed in Milton Keynes, one evening in March last year.
He offered to help her and arranged a taxi to an address in Luton where he raped her.
In May this year, he was found guilty of rape at Luton Crown Court following a two-week trial and was sentenced last Friday (11 August) to 11 years in prison, with an extended three years due to his dangerousness.
