Man charged with attempted GBH in Milton Keynes

    Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with attempted GBH in Milton Keynes.

    Salah Suleiman, aged 19, of Blackheath Crescent, Bradwell Common, Milton Keynes, was charged with one count each of Section 18 attempted wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place yesterday (5/2).

    The charges are in relation to an incident in Savoy Crescent at around 10pm on Saturday (3/2). Suleiman was arrested at the scene.

    Suleiman was remanded in custody and appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today.

    He was further remanded in custody and is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 4 March.

    Thames Valley Police has made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct as Suleiman lost consciousness while being arrested. He has since made a full recovery.
