Arrest following incident at Co-op this week.
A man has been charged in connection with a robbery in Bletchley on Wednesday, say Milton Keynes police.
Following an investigation, Wayne Thomas, 33, of Ennerdale Close, Bletchley, has been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of possession of an imitation firearm while committing a Schedule 1 offence.
The charges relate to an incident at the Co-operative store on Water Eaton Road, Bletchley, just before 6am on Wednesday. Thomas was arrested later that day and appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today, where he was remanded into custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 19th January.
A second man, aged 46, from Milton Keynes, who was also arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on conditional police bail.
