Man arrested on suspicion of arson following house fire in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police has revealed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a house fire in Milton Keynes.

    The incident took place at around 17:45 yesterday (19/10) where fire crews were called to a blaze at a terraced house on Ousebank Way in Stony Stratford.

    Firefighters used one hose reel, four sets of breathing apparatus and a fan.

    They rescued a man from the first floor of the terraced house, administered emergency care treatment and left him in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

    Re-inspections were carried out throughout the night and morning.

    And now it has been announced that Thames Valley Police has arrested a 37-year-old man, also from Stony Stratford, on suspicion of arson following the incident.
