Man, 25, charged with attempted murder following assault in Milton Keynes underpass

    Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with attempted murder in Milton Keynes.

    Wesley Atick, aged 25, of Buxton Close, Glebe Farm, Milton Keynes was charged with one count of attempted murder today (25/10).

    The charge relates to an incident in the underpass between Groveway and Newport Road in Wavendon Gate on Monday (23/10) in which a man in his thirties was assaulted.

    He suffered life threatening injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

    Atick has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place today. This charge relates to an incident in Glebe Farm on Tuesday (24/10) and is unrelated to the assault.

    Atick has been remanded in custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (26/10).
