MacIntyre takes on Ben Nevis in Milton Keynes

With the first MacIntyre Clip ‘n Climb Ben Nevis event taking place on the evening of Tuesday 9th November, there's still time to register your team.

It’s an opportunity for friends, companies and clubs to climb to the height of Ben Nevis at Climb Quest in MK.  Each team will be attempting to climb 168 walls (28 walls per person) which is the equivalent of the height of Ben Nevis (1,344m).  The biggest challenge is that you only have one hour to reach the summit.

MacIntyre is a national charity that provides learning, support and care for more than 1,200 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism, at more than 150 services across England and Wales.

    Building Team Spirit

Whether you are a climbing fanatic or someone who just loves a challenge, our MacIntyre Clip ‘n Climb Ben Nevis team building event is set to be a fun filled evening.  Teams of six determined individuals will challenge each other to be the first team to reach the summit.

    Changing Lives

MacIntyre receive funding to provide for core areas of care for people with learning disabilities. However, it is the 'extras' made possible by fundraising that can lead to new experiences and cherished memories for the children, young people and adults MacIntyre supports.

Alaina Cornish, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at MacIntyre said:

“We are very excited to be launching the first MacIntyre Clip ‘n Climb Ben Nevis challenge in MK.  Financial constraints in the social care sector and working through a pandemic mean that income we receive from fundraising events like this is more important than ever.”
