Local yoga studio to offer free 'headspace' sessions to calm stress and anxiety

    Sweat Studios are offering free 15-minute 'headspace' sessions to share simple techniques at a bid to calm feelings of stress and anxiety.

    The free sessions will take place every weekday lunchtime this week.

    Aside from these free sessions, Sweat Studios will also offer virtual Yoga and Pilates classes. Many gyms and fitness studios are turning to social media and online to share workouts with those spending time at home, and The Hub-based yoga studio is one of them.

    Sweat Studios will livestream classes whilst their studios are temporarily closed. Kirsty Lowe, the owner of Sweat Studios, said: "During this period of change and uncertainty, we’re thrilled to be able to offer our virtual Yoga and Pilates classes far and wide.

    "A simple booking and login system enables anyone with internet to join in, teamed with one-off pricing which gives people the flexibility they need at this time. We are delighted that the live-streamed classes have been so popular, and we’re now in the process of developing our online offerings further to help those at home stay fit, healthy and happy.”
