Local Milton Keynes Parish Council takes to social media after drawings found on pavilion walls

Shenley Brook End and Tattenhoe Parish Council has taken to social media to share images of crayon drawings that are on the Garthwaite Pavilion walls.

The Local Parish Council has taken to social media today, (04/11) to remind parents and carers that children they take to community buildings are still their responsibility.

A spokesperson for Shenley Brook End and Tattenhoe Parish Council wrote on Facebook: "It is with frustration and disappointment that we share these images. Recently, a child under the supervision of an accompanying adult was not prevented from writing and drawing on the outside of Garthwaite Pavilion in crayon.

"This will not wash off in the rain, so time will now have to be spent to clean it.

"We remind parents and carers that the children they bring to a community building are their responsibility to keep under control, and that all our buildings have CCTV in operation 24 hours a day should the same happen again."
