Local Mental Health Podcast ‘The Stress Sessions’ announces live show at Milton Keynes Gallery

The Stress Sessions, a renowned local mental health podcast, is marking its 3rd anniversary with a captivating live event on Friday 22 September.

The Stress Sessions was founded by local man, Luke Clark, during lockdown and since then, the podcast has achieved remarkable success, surpassing 5,000 monthly downloads, with a dedicated following of over 30,000 on Instagram.

With over 50 podcast episodes, The Stress Sessions covers a wide range of important mental health topics, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, eating disorders, and various other aspects of mental illness.

To mark its 3rd anniversary, a live event will be taking place on Friday 22 September, from 19:00 to 21:00, at the Sky Room Cinema within the MK Gallery.

The celebration promises an unforgettable evening of open conversations and heartfelt discussions on mental health.

Attendees will get access to two live podcasts, where Clark will engage in inspiring conversations with BAFTA winner and star of BBC's 'The Traitors,' Will Webster, and award-winning stand-up comedian and host of the 'Men Brain' podcast, Rich Wilson.

The event will also feature a special live performance by Eddie Brett, the talented musician, songwriter, and lead singer/guitarist for the 'Loveable Rogues.'

Clark, the 34-year-old host of The Stress Sessions, initiated the podcast as a personal journey to tackle his anxiety and depression.

Over the years, the show has grown to emphasise the significance of mental health, focusing on men's mental well-being. Featuring an impressive lineup of guests, including Perez Hilton, Suzanne Shaw, Pat Sharp, local entrepreneur Kirsty from OhMyCakery, and MK Dons players Dean Lewington and Matt Smith, the podcast has touched the lives of many and shed light on the experiences of those battling their own mental health challenges.

Doors to the Sky Room Cinema will open at 18:30, with the event finishing at 21:00, following the recordings, live performance, and a brief intermission.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase refreshments during the event.

Tickets are just £12, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to charity, with half benefiting a mental health charity of The Stress Sessions' choice and the other half being donated to MK Gallery.
