Local Milton Keynes football team to run charity 100km relay... with a football

OB City are planning to raise £1,000 to help men and women locally with mental and physical health, as they begin their relay next week.

OB City play their games in the local MK Sunday League Division 3.

The club founder Chris Geary told MKFM: "The club was created to help people from our local community who need support with their mental and physical well-being whatever barriers or restrictions they may have.

"We currently run a football and running club and offer all members free support with their mental health and we want to expand our support".

The club were named FA Grassroots Project of the Year in 2020.

The relay begins on Monday 8th and will end on the 23nd February. Over the period they hope to complete the 100km challenge and would love to raise £1,000.

The money raised will go towards Mindfulness sessions for the club and much needed support for Nutrition advice and Equipment for the club.
