Campbell Wharf, one of the newest areas of Milton Keynes, is set to be home to some new leisure facilities.

Canal St Coffee is set to open its second speciality coffee bar in the Campbell Wharf area, following the success of its first outlet in Leighton Buzzard.

Canal St Coffee serves food, local coffee and aims to be a place for residents, visitors and businesses to socialise.

Milton Keynes Development Partnership’s (MKDP) has shared the news that its development partner, Crest Nicholson, has exchanged contracts on three commercial units in total.

PT Workspace is set to take over and offer dedicated studio space for personal trainers to use with their clients.

The third unit will be leased as office and storage space to provide shore-based support to Electra.

Electra is an all-electric volunteer-run narrow boat which offers public cruises or private charters along the canal.

Matthew Green, Property Development Director at MKDP said, “It’s great to see two independent businesses signing up to take commercial space at Campbell Wharf; both Canal St Coffee and PT Workspace will bring an added vibrancy to the leisure and retail offer already at the scheme.

"We’re also very pleased that the dedicated team of volunteers, who put in so much time and hard work running Electra, will have a physical home at Campbell Wharf”.
