Emergency services dealing with ‘incident’ at train station

    Emergency services dealt with an ‘incident’ at Wolverton railway station on Christmas Eve,.

    Train services running through the station were disrupted with cancellations or delays.

    Local residents reported that the Car Park at the station was closed with an air ambulance in attendance.

    A London Northwestern Railway spokesperson said: “Paramedics and police are dealing with an ill male at Wolverton station.”

    ”No services will be able to call at this station towards Birmingham New Street until further notice.”

    A replacement minibus was operating between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton via Wolverton in that direction only. 

    Rail services ended earlier than usual on the day due to planned industrial action from 6pm.
