Limited trains to run from Milton Keynes Central over Easter as engineering work takes place

A 'significant' amount of engineering work will be taking place at London Euston over the Easter weekend, affecting train services to and from Milton Keynes.

No trains are set to run between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central from Friday 7th April to Monday 10th April with the West Coast Main Line closed up to MK.

Engineering work will be taking place between the stations over the Easter weekend.

Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway lines are set to be most affected.

"A significant amount of engineering work will be taking place during the holiday period, affecting several key routes," National Rail explain.

"Network Rail carry out essential improvement and engineering work across the rail network during this time as fewer than half the number of people usually travel by train."

Some train companies are also set to be making changes to their timetable, and to some train times, to match services to the number of customers travelling.
