Last year’s late cancellation of the Hidden Festival was a blow for the many music fans who had hoped to enjoy a high-energy show with quality drum & bass, and garage sounds at its heart.
But as festival organisers prepare to bring back Hidden this summer, they say it is ‘coming home with purpose’ and that lessons have been learned.
In a statement to MKFM, they said: ‘The late cancellation of the 2025 edition was deeply felt by everyone involved. For the team behind Hidden, it was a moment of honest reflection — an opportunity to pause, take responsibility, and rebuild the festival the right way. Those lessons now sit at the heart of every decision being made for 2026.
‘Rather than rushing back, Hidden has taken the time to reset properly. A new site has been secured, the format refined, and the festival reimagined with clarity, care and long-term stability in mind. Planning is now firmly in place, timelines are locked, and delivery is the priority.’
As Hidden Festival's name suggests, it will take place in a secret location.
‘Milton Keynes is a city full of contrast and character, with green spaces, urban scenery and overlooked pockets that transform when music is dropped into them,’ organisers added, ‘Hidden Festival 2026 will once again shine a light on Milton Keynes, turning familiar landscapes into something magical and unforgettable.
'The team would like to thank everyone who showed patience and belief during a challenging period, particularly those who held onto their tickets. That loyalty has not been taken lightly. 2026 is about giving that all back — not with promises, but with delivery.
' 2026 marks a fresh chapter — built on lessons learned, stronger foundations, and genuine excitement for what’s to come.'
