Join the McDonald's latest Love Where You Live event

The 'Love Where you Live' anti-litter campaign take place on Thursday 22nd June between 12-2pm meeting at the Central McDonald's restaurant in centre:mk.

Join McDonald's for the latest in a series of 'Love Where You Live' events for 2017 in association with McDonald's, Milton Keynes City Centre Management and Keep Britain Tidy.

McDonald's is a founding sponsor of Keep Britain Tidy's 'Love Where You Live' anti-litter campaign which actively encourages businesses, residents and authorities working together, developing pride within the local community and ridding areas of unsightly litter.  In 2017, McDonald's continue to build on the successes of previous years which have seen over 500 individuals turn out to our events since the programme launched in 2013.

On Thursday 22 June, McDonald's are organising a litter pick which will take place on a pre-planned route around Central Milton Keynes, taking place in centre:mk, Xscape, Milton Keynes Theatre and the market.  Once finished, all waste will be collected and removed by our colleagues at Serco.  All equipment and first aid supplies will be provided on the day and a thorough risk assessment carried out in advance.

McDonald's hopes the community of Milton Keynes will join in on the activities on Thursday 22 June. Ken Tomkins and Rob Harriman of Kaizen Restaurants and MKCCM have said,

"Often, we meet people who want to volunteer in the community, but don't know where to start.  Here, the organisation is taken care of, leaving you to make your contribution when it suits you within the duration of the event.  All we ask is that you drop us a note confirming your attendance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
