A man from Milton Keynes has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment after being found guilty of a number of child sex offences.
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, Michael Lines, aged 41, formerly of Oxley Park, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of sexual activity with a child under 16 and one count of sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust at Amersham Crown Court.
The offences took place between 2010 and 2015 against a child aged between 15 and 18 years old.
Lines was charged on 9 December 2016.
He was convicted of the offences on 19 July 2017 and was sentenced on Monday (25/6) at Blackfriars Crown Court
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register indefinitely and was made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) indefinitely.
In a separate trial at Aylesbury Crown Court which concluded in April, Lines was acquitted of four further offences of sexual activity with a child.
