A couple in Stony Stratford are taking Halloween to another level and have spent thousands of pounds on spooky decorations.
Ruth and Chris McCormack, who live on Latimer, have been celebrating the creepy side for the past eight years, and they don't just decorate outside – every room downstairs in their home has been given a chilling makeover too!
“Each year our Halloween display gets bigger, madder, and more terrifying and this year we’ve truly outdone ourselves,” Ruth said, “I bought a wedding marquee and turned it into my very own Monster Marquee. We put it up just before Storm Amy arrived, but thankfully it survived!”
Fangs, erm we mean friends of the family enjoy monster Halloween parties at their home: “We do apple bobbing, doughnuts on a string, faces in flour, hand in the box, limbo, dare to eat...
“We have dead bodies hanging, spooky inflatables towering over the garden, and food so creepy it deserves its own warning label. Even the postman jumps when we forget to turn off the animatronics,” Ruth added.
“The kids love it, although they now refuse to use the downstairs loo unless someone stands guard outside!”
