Investigation of attack at festival in Milton Keynes continues

    Police continue investigation of man who was stabbed in Milton Keynes at Reggae Land Festival yesterday, August 4, leaving him in critical condition.

    Thames Valley Police (TVP) is investigating an assault of a man at Reggae Land Festival in Milton Keynes.

    At about 8.50pm yesterday evening (August 4), TVP were informed a man had been assaulted in the main arena at The National Bowl.

    Medical staff attended the scene and the injured man was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His condition is described as critical.

    TVP believe that this was a targeted attack and therefore, the perpetrator is no risk to festivalgoers or the wider public.

    Working very closely with the event organisers and their security team, TVP are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

    TVP have already taken a number of statements from witnesses, and will be carrying out forensic examinations as well as CCTV enquiries.
